Ayurveda: oiling inside & out- winter self care- January 31, 2010
Ayurveda is the traditional system of Indian medicine and self-care. Join Diane Finlayson at One Yoga Center for this workshop where you will study and practice seasonal, Ayurvedic, self care practices including:
- an exploration of the elemental energies of the doshas (aspects of our physical constitution)
- Abhyanga self massage techniques
- Picchu for soothing the nervous system.
Diane is the own of yama studio in Baltimore Maryland and on the teacher training staff at One Yoga Center. She is a gifted Yoga educator and has trained extensively with Wise Earth school of Ayurveda founded by Swamini Mayatitananda (Formerly Maya Tiwari). She also holds an Ayurvedic Health Educator certificate from David Frawley’s American Vedic Studies Institute. Diane is truly a joy to study with.
