Yoga Teacher Training or Yoga Vacation on the Beach in Mexico
Integrative Yoga Therapy is pleased to offer the IYT 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at the Bambuddha Retreat Center in Acapulco, Mexico. This is a Yoga Alliance approved program.
Dates: January 23- February 8, 2011
The IYT style of yoga emphasizes making Yoga accessible to all regardless of age or level of fitness. This program will allow you to discover yoga as a healing art and will support you in developing skills that are adaptable to teaching all populations.
Teacher Training Program Curriculum
The program curriculum includes:
- Yoga history and philosophy
- Western and Eastern Ideas on Yoga
- Anatomy and physiology
- Teaching methodology and techniques
- The study and practice of asana (health benefits and alignment principles)
- Pranayama
- Meditation
- Mudra
- Mantra
- Introduction to ayurveda.

The Yoga Vacation is being held following the Yoga Teacher Training
The vacation package includes:
- 2 daily Yoga classes to vitalize body mind and spirit
- 3 delicious vegetarian meals daily (some fish available), prepared with with local fuits, natural foods and vegetables, served outdoors in the tropical breeze
- double room accommodations for six nights

About the Trainers
Karen Sandler and Ellen Schaeffer are the program coordinators and core facilitators. They have been studying Yoga for 26 years and teaching for 16.
Karen currently teaches Yoga teacher certifications both in the United States and internationally. She is also a licensed massage therapist and an instructor of clinical massage , reflexology, shiatsu, reiki, chakra therapy and pranic healing.
Ellen directs a Yoga studio and offers teacher trainings and workshops internationally. She is also a Thai Yoga practitioner, stress management specialist and has a special interest in adaptive yoga practices , making yoga and yogic lifestyle accessible to all.
About Bambudda Retreat Center
Bambuddha is a quaint retreat center located directly on the beautiful Pacific Ocean. There are many activities nearby and Acapulco is just 30 minutes away. Massage therapy, healing earth baths and a sweat lodge are on site. Visit on-line at www.bambuddhacapulco.com.
Cost of the Teacher Training Program
$2300.00 program tuition and $50 teacher manual, plus $1300.00 for double room accommodations, including 3 vegetarian meals a day (with some fish available) for 17 days.

Payment Terms and Options
Checks are our preferred method of payment. If, however, you prefer to use your credit card for Teacher Training, payment through Paypal is offered as an option below. With the exception of the $100 deposit, the payment options below include a credit card processing fee. Payments also include the $50 fee for the IYT Teacher Training Manual. Thank You.
